[GCC] The 7th IEEE GCC Conference and Exhibition - Doha, Qatar

Under the Patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-ThaniPrime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the IEEE Gulf Sections (Qatar, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman) with collaboration of the Qatari Society of Engineers (QSE) will organize the7th GCC Industrial Electrical and Electronics Engineering from17 - 20November,2013.

The theme of the7thIEEE GCC Conference is “Towards Improving Quality of Life”. This theme is a symbolic reflection of an emerging technology and rapid changes that are occurring in the Gulf Region and indeed in the world at large. These innovative changes are demonstrating the role and responsibilities of the engineers in developing emerging technology to improve the reliability and sustainability of the industrial operation as well as to preserve our natural resource by eliminating environmental residuals in the GCC region by large.

Principal driver of such improvement is providing numerous opportunities to identify and determine vulnerable area of electrical and electronics engineering and how emerging technologies can address current and potential stalemates to improve various industries control and operations with high sense of engineering reliability.

These improvements evidently will safeguard the quality of our life in multiple aspects on long term basis in particularly social and medical sciences toward digital era certainly.

The 7th IEEE GCC Conference offers an opportunity to promote products, services, ideas as well as various roles of business electrical engineering in a comprehensive way as it may attain the attention of the regional government officials, academic scientific members as well as industrialists’ communities.
