[EUNICE] The 19th EUNICE Workshop on Advances in Communication Networking - Chemnitz, Germany
The aim of the annual EUNICE conference is to provide a forum that brings together young researchers and scientists from Europe and neighboring regions to meet and exchange ideas and recent works on communication networks modelling and analysis.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Network Architectures (cellular, IP and optical networks; CDNs; Ad-hoc and wireless mesh networks)
- Advanced Networking Concepts (software defined networking (SDN); network virtualization; cloud networking; information centric netw.)
- Modeling (traffic models; mobility models; dimensioning models; QoS and QoE models)
- Network Planning (dimensioning; planning for robustness, reliability, energy-efficiency; multi-period planning; network migration planning)
- Network Operation (network and traffic monitoring/management; QoS/QoE monitoring/management; cooperation mechanisms; CDN/cache management)
- Techno-Economic Issues (demand forecasting; end user behaviour and usage patterns; CAPEX, OPEX and revenue models; sensitivity and risk analysis; real options; multi-actor analysis; regulatory impacts)
- Results from Testbeds, Experimental Research, Measurements, Simulations, Case Studies
- Network Security (security, trust and privacy management; detection of security flaws, anomalies and attacks; attack mitigation)
- Applications (Internet of things; new applications and services for social communities; augmented reality)
- Radio Access (radio resource management; smart antennas, MIMO, CoMP; cross-layer design; device-to-device communication; cognitive radio)
- Protocols (energy efficient protocols; protocols for security, trust and privacy; protocols for routing, multicast and P2P networking)
