[IWSSIP] The 20th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing - Bucharest, Romania

The 20th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing,IWSSIP 2013, will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from July 7th to July 9th 2013, being hosted by the University “Politehnica” of Bucharest. The anniversary edition of IWSSIP 2013 follows the successful events held in Budapest,Manchester, Poznan, Zagreb, Bratislava, Maribor, Bucharest, Prague, Chalkida, Rio de Janeiro, Sarajevo and Vienna.

IWSSIP is a well established international conference on theoretical, experimental, and applied signal processing techniques. IWSSIP brings together researchers and developers from both academia and industry to report on the latest scientific and theoretical advances, to discuss and debate major issues, to demonstrate state of-the-art systems, and trace the road to the future. The proceedings of IWSSIP 2013 will be published in IEEE Xplore.

The Best Student Paper Award initiated starting the 2012 edition will be continued in 2013. The rules can be found on the conference website

IWSSIP 2013 is organized by the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with the support of the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport, the Romanian Academy, the IEEE Region 8, and IEEE Romania Section. The event will be held in conjunction with ISSCS 2013, Technical University of Iasi, Romania, July 11-12, 2013 (http://scs.etc.tuiasi.ro/isscs2013/).
